MRI

Utilizing the power of magnetic fields and radio waves, MRI can create vivid pictures of the organs and tissues of the body. As the atoms within the body interact with this energy, the MRI machine is able to detect this activity. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, MRI does not make use of radiation, making it a preferred choice for medical diagnosis of a variety of conditions such as infections, cancer, heart disease, internal injury, musculoskeletal disorders, or gastrointestinal disease.

CT Scans

CT imaging utilizes X-rays to create images of the internal organs and bones of the body. This method of imaging helps medical professionals to detect and diagnose various diseases and disorders, such as infections, tumors, heart conditions, and injuries. The results of the scan reveal the size, shape, and location of any abnormalities present.

Ultrasounds

Using sound waves of a high frequency, ultrasound imaging facilitates the production of images from within the body. This method of scanning is referred to as sonography or ultrasound scanning. The technique is beneficial in evaluating organs such as the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, uterus, ovaries, aorta and other significant blood vessels.

X-Rays

X-rays utilize undetectable electromagnetic energy beams to produce pictures of internal structures, bones, and organs either on film or digitalized. These X-ray images are employed for diagnosing tumors and bone injuries, and just a tiny quantity of X-ray radiation is necessary to form the images.

Biopsy

A microscope is used to closely inspect cells or tissue for any signs of disease or abnormality which may necessitate a biopsy. In some cases, a needle is used to acquire a small sample of tissue while in others, a suspicious lump or nodule is surgically removed for further examination.
