How does Neurological CT work?
Neurological CT uses advanced X-ray technology combined with sophisticated computer processing to create detailed cross-sectional images of the brain and surrounding structures. As the scanner rotates around the head, it captures multiple images from different angles, which are then reconstructed into highly detailed views. In some cases, contrast material may be used to highlight blood vessels or abnormalities, allowing neuroradiologists to assess conditions such as stroke, trauma, tumors, or hydrocephalus with clarity.
